Your details, and what we do with them.

AdsForge is run by No Fear Tech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16758357). Our registered office is 6 Mallard Way, Dereham, England, NR19 1FJ. For anything on this page, you can email hello@adsforge.co.uk.

We're the controller of your details, which means we decide how they're used and answer to you for it.

• –Your name and email address
• –Your password, stored only in a scrambled form that we can't read back
• –If you sign in with Google, the name and email address Google gives us, and nothing else
• –Which websites you can work on and what you're allowed to do there

• –The website addresses you add, and the brand kit read from each site's public pages
• –The ad copy, display ads, video scripts, videos and community posts made for you
• –The communities found for your sites, and which ones you approved or turned down
• –A record of the changes you make, with the time and the internet address you made them from

That record of changes is kept for a year and then deleted. It's there so the owner of your account can see who did what, and so we can look into anything that goes wrong.

When you put a web address into the box on our home page, we read that site's public pages to show you its brand kit. We keep nothing from that test.

We do count how many tests come from your internet address each minute, so nobody can flood us with them. That count clears itself.

• –A sign-in cookie, set when you sign in and kept for 14 days, so you stay signed in
• –A short-lived cookie while you sign in with Google, so the answer comes back to the right browser
• –Your answer to our analytics question, remembered in your browser so we ask you once
• –Google Analytics cookies, only if you said yes

The first three are needed for AdsForge to work, so there's no switch for them. You can clear any of them in your browser's settings.

We use Google Analytics to see which pages of this site get read. It sets no cookies and builds no picture of you unless you say yes. Until then, Google still gets a basic, cookie-free note that a page was opened.

You can change your mind at any time. Clear this site's data in your browser and we'll ask you again.

We use a small number of other companies to run AdsForge, and each one only gets what it needs to do its job for you.

• –Anthropic, whose Claude writes your ad copy, scripts and posts from the text on your site and your brand kit
• –SerpApi and Apify, which look up communities from the words that describe your site
• –Resend, which delivers the emails we send you, such as invitations and password reset links
• –Google, for Google sign-in and, if you said yes, Google Analytics
• –The company that hosts AdsForge for us, which stores your account and everything made for you

We don't sell your details, and we don't pass them to anyone for their own advertising.

Some of these companies are based outside the UK, mostly in the United States. Where your details travel abroad, they go under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

• –To keep AdsForge secure and working, which is in your interest and ours: the record of changes, and the limits on repeated sign-in attempts
• –Because you agreed: analytics

• –Your account and everything made for your sites: until you or your account's owner delete it, or ask us to

• –Sign-in cookies: 14 days, or until you sign out
• –Password reset links: 30 minutes
• –Invitations: 7 days

You can ask us for a copy of what we keep about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to stop or limit how we use it, and take your details elsewhere. Email hello@adsforge.co.uk and we'll answer within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is a big one, you'll hear from us by email before it takes effect.
